SUBJECT: A fierce storm tosses a small boat in giant waves off the west coast of Scotland, and people scrabble over the rocks to gather the whisky barrels from the sea. Inspired by the 1949 film “Whisky Galore” in which the inhabitants of fictional Todday island recover some of the 50,000 barrels of whisky aboard the stricken “SS Cabinet Minister” as it sinks in rough seas.
