SUBJECT: A cold winter storm swept across the Surrey Hills and deposited a crisp white layer of snow over the woodlands of Box Hill. Shortly afterwards, the sun broke through and illuminated the scene, casting long shadows in the snow. The scene is close to Juniper Top on the south side of the hill, just a few hundred metres to the east of the viewpoint.
